South Asia Strategy Working Group (SASWG)

Purpose

There is general recognition that South Asia is an important region for engagement by the University. This engagement already spans many varied activities, including research collaboration, faculty and student mobility, student recruitment, philanthropy and fundraising, strategic partnerships, publishing and assessment.

The South Asia Strategy Working Group (SASWG) will provide strategic direction for medium‐ and long‐term engagement, in order to enable the University to benefit as fully as possible from the opportunities offered by working in and with South Asian countries.

SASWG Membership

Owing to the broad remit of the SASWG, it includes members from a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership of University and Colleges, subject matter experts and academics with strong connections to South Asia, and professional services staff from a range of relevant offices.
