Strategic Partnerships Office

International collaborations

The Strategic Partnerships Office oversees a number of multi-disciplinary research collaborations:

The University of Cambridge has a long-standing partnership with the University of Tokyo, which has included research collaboration in many fields, especially Biological and Physical Sciences, and Technology. In recent years, an annual Symposium held in either Cambridge or Tokyo has highlighted ongoing partnerships, and explored new avenues for working together. This year’s Symposium took place on 27 March 2019.

Exchange programmes

The Strategic Partnerships Office administers two international exchange programmes for academics: the Cambridge-Hamied Visiting Lecture Scheme (for visits between Cambridge and India) and the Cambridge-Canterbury Exchange (for visits between Cambridge and Christchurch NZ).
